THE PROCESS
The Awards are free to enter by confirmed exhibitors, displaying at EQUITANA Melbourne 2024 or open to any company sharing a site at EQUITANA Melbourne 2024.
The first round of the Innovation Awards will be judged by an independent panel of 3 Judges prior to EQUITANA Melbourne 2024.
Finalists from each category will be invited to present to our independent panel of 3 Judges during two sessions at EQUITANA Melbourne located in the foyer Victoria Pavilion, Building 3 on Thursday 14th November 2024. These sessions may be filmed, and the public can watch.
The winner / runner up will be notified Friday 15th November 2024 and will be invited to accept their awards at the Awards Presentation during the VIP Night Function held Saturday 16th November.

This award celebrates new and innovative products suitable for the Equestrian Rider on and off the horse.
This award is for products that have not been on the world market before November 2022 and are either significantly different to what is currently available on the market, or seek to improve what is already out there.

The product must be fully developed (no prototypes) and already on the Australian Market or ready to be launched and sold at EQUITANA Melbourne 2024.

This new separate award celebrates Australian Made and Owned Innovation and is judged on the written / photographic submission only with one winner.
This award is for products that have not been on the world market before November 2022 and are either significantly different to what is currently available on the market, or seek to improve what is already out there.
In order to be eligible for this award:
- The product must be manufactured in Australia from a minimum of 50% Australian Components or Ingredients.
- The Company / Business must be 100% Australian Owned.
The business entering the awards must be an exhibitor at EQUITANA Melbourne 2022.
This product must not have been launched on the global market before November 2022.
Australian Distributors entering products on another Company’s behalf must have written permission to enter the awards.
The product must be fully developed and already on the Australian Market or ready to be fully launched and available for order at EQUITANA Melbourne 2022.
This product must meet Australian Compliance Laws, and have an Australian warranty.
