KIDS Foundation is a charity established in 1993 to care-for and support traumatised and injured children left with disabilities. We provide opportunities that build bright prospects, resilience, and optimism through education, empowerment, socialisation, promoting positive mental health and wellbeing.
Our programs support differently abled children and young people, their families, and carers to recover and improve their quality of life beyond survival, laying a foundation for human ‘higher needs’ such as autonomy, happiness, and social connections. We do this through camps, workshops, community-based activities, and equine associated experiences and therapy programs.
For over the 30years we have impacted millions and made an extraordinary difference in the lives of many. Our team of 12 (5 full-time-equivalent) are a unique group of people that are self-motivated, driven, and committed. We are privileged to meet some seriously courageous and inspiring young people and create magical moments to make their lives the best they can be.
